MENTOR PROGRAMME

Are you afraid of being lonely in a new country? Need some help with transport, accommodation and practical issues during the first days in Poland? Are you interested in getting to know Polish and international students and having fun with them? If yes, Mentor is exactly what you need! :)

Mentor (also known as a Buddy) is a local student who, on a voluntary basis, helps international students throughout his/her stay in the new country. He/she is a peer student, who helps you with practical issues at WUT.

Your Mentor will:

  • contact you before your arrival to Warsaw (if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask him/her)
  • pick you up from the airport/ railway station when you arrive
  • help you with accommodation and other formalities which you have to arrange after coming to Warsaw, such as getting registered and dormitory or lookin for a flat to rent
  • help you adapt to new reality of living in a foreign country
  • advise you on where to shop
  • introduce you to the University premises, parties, meetings etc.

Mentor programme is run by ESN PW and International Students Association
During your application for studies at WUT, we will let you know how to get a Mentor :)
