New PhD students Scholarship Programmes
The purpose of the Scholarship Programmes is to provide doctoral students at the Warsaw University of Technology with the funding for the development of their research skills. The launch of programmes for Doctoral Students at WUT as part of the implementation of the project „Excellence Initiative – Research University” at WUT.
WUT Start Programme
The purpose of WUT Start Programme is awarding one-off financial aid for doctoral students admitted to doctoral schools at WUT. The scholarship is for the doctoral students admitted to doctoral schools at WUT in the course of the programme’s implementation. In 2020 the financial aid amounts to PLN 4,200. To apply for the scholarship, the doctoral student has to complete the agreement, submit it to The Department of Doctoral Students Service (DOD - Dział Obsługi Doktorantów) within 30 days from the doctoral student’s admission to a doctoral school.
Scholarship+ Programme at WUT
The purpose of the Scholarship+ Programme at WUT is to raise above the minimum the amount of grant awarded to doctoral students of doctoral schools at the Warsaw University of Technology. The amount of Scholarship+ depends on the year of study of a doctoral student and on fulfilling an academic criterion associated with the Project EIRU (IDUB) indices.
The Mobility Programme for Doctoral Students at Doctoral Schools and the Mobility Programme for Doctoral Students of Doctoral Studies
The purpose of programmes is to provide the doctoral students at the Warsaw University of Technology with the funding for the development of their competences through participation in brief mobility activities, such as conferences, workshops or summer schools, among other things.
