Faculty of Mechatronics is the most interdisciplinary Faculty of Warsaw University of Technology – its educational programme has always been consistent with the latest trends in the development of science and technology, responding to the needs of industry.
Studies are conducted in the areas off micromechanics, photonics, nanotechnology, automatic control and robotics, technology of electronic devices as well as metrology and measurement systems. Faculty also tackles multimedia technology and biomedical engineering. Faculty of Mechatronics is ranked the best in Poland in the above mentioned areas, and enjoys high prestige and acknowledgement at the international arena.
A unique combined knowledge of many disciplines: designing and manufacturing of mechatronics and photonics systems and devices, metrology and measurement techniques, automatic control and robotics, diagnostic processes and quality engineering, electronics and microprocessor technique and information technology give our graduates priority at the labour market. During their studies and work on diploma project they are exposed to the top-class multidisciplinary research carried out by our academic staff within European national and industrial projects.
Our graduates are the most sought specialists by industry, research organizations and SMEs and can choose among interesting jobs in the field of their specializations. They hold excellent positions in many Polish companies and research institutes, and are highly appreciated abroad (Bosch, Airbus, European Space Agency, Optical Science Centre, Zeiss, British Steel, Fraunhofer Institutes, etc.).
