NAWA'S RECOGNITION STATEMENT TO B.SC. DIPLOMA

Please check if your Bachelor’s degree diploma requires the individual Recognition Statement from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

According to the law of 4 April 2025 regarding, among others, the rules for admission to Polish universities, obtaining a final acceptance letter will require some candidates to submit the Recognition Statement on a Foreign Diploma issued by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The recognition process may take even 90 days (or more), so we strongly recommend that you submit your application for the Recognition Statement in NAWA'S SYRENA SYSTEM before admission to studies.

Please visit the website of NAWA for detailed INSTRUCTIONS ON THE RECOGNITION PROCESS

Candidates who submit this application late are often not able to complete their admission and get the final acceptance for studies due to the missing NAWA’s Recognition Statement.

Before applying for the Recognition Statement, please read NAWA’s instructions carefully. Please remember to attach all necessary documents in NAWA’s SYRENA System.

Incomplete applications or applications with errors may result in a longer recognition process or application rejection.

NOTE:

The International Students Office is not able to make your recognition process at NAWA faster.

You should obtain the individual recognition to your diploma issued by NAWA and referring directly to your document. General recognition statements downloaded from NAWA's Kwalifikator will not be accepted.
