Why did I choose to study Robotics?

I chose to study MSc Robotics at Warsaw University of Technology because I have always been fascinated by electronic devices and mechanical systems. As someone who studied mechanical engineering for my bachelor's degree, I have a strong foundation in the principles of engineering and design. Still, I wanted to take my education further and explore the intersection of these disciplines with robotics.

The field of robotics offers a wide range of exciting career opportunities, from designing and building robots for manufacturing and automation to developing new technologies for use in healthcare, transportation, and other industries. I am particularly interested in the potential of robotics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of various processes, as well as its potential to enhance the quality of life for people around the world.

During my studies at Warsaw University of Technology, I have had the opportunity to learn about a wide range of interesting topics, such as machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, and mobile robots. These subjects have been particularly engaging for me, as they have allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how robotics can be used to solve complex problems and improve various processes

I am grateful for the opportunity to study at Warsaw University of Technology, a prestigious institution with a strong reputation in the field of robotics. I am confident that the education and training I have received will serve me well as I pursue a career in this exciting field. They will also help me to contribute to the development of new technologies that can make a positive impact on society.

Why did I decide to study in Poland?

First of all, Poland has a strong education system. It is home to many top universities, including Warsaw University of Technology which offers MSc in robotics, the subject I was interested in.
I was attracted by the high-quality education offered by Warsaw University of Technology. Additionally, I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Polish government, which helped to make my studies in Poland more financially feasible.

Secondly, the cost of living in Poland is relatively low compared to other European countries, making it an affordable option for me.

Thirdly, I was drawn to Poland's unique culture and history and saw studying in Poland as an excellent opportunity to immerse myself in the local way of life. I also saw it as an opportunity to improve my language skills, including learning the Polish language, even though plenty of career opportunities in Poland do not require fluency in the language. I wanted to challenge myself by immersing myself in a country where the primary language differs from mine.

To sum up, I chose to study in Poland for the combination of high-quality education, cultural immersion, and language learning. The abundance of career opportunities, even for those who do not speak the language fluently, was also a factor in my decision. Studying at Warsaw University of Technology in Poland gave me a unique opportunity to achieve all these goals while also benefiting from a scholarship from the Polish government, for which I am incredibly grateful.
