STEP 1: Create an account in the Online Recruitment of Candidates (IRK) and upload the Entry Documents

IMPORTANT: Please remember that B.Sc. Architecture should be selected only as your programme no. 1. APPLICATION FEE NOTICE: Payments should be made to individual student bank accounts. The account number will be available after creating an account in IRK. |
THE ENTRY DOCUMENTS:
1. High School Leaving Certificate – the original and, if necessary, its translation into English or Polish (combined in one file).
2. Transcript of Records – your results/grades, if necessary, with the translation into English or Polish (combined in one file).
3. Passport – the page(s) with your personal information, photo, and signature.
*EU citizens: Candidates from the EU can also use a national ID.
4. Proof of payment of PLN 150 application fee.
5. One picture/photograph – the passport format photo.
STEP 2: Complete the Architecture Examination Task / the 1st Phase:

In 2026, the graphic task will have to be prepared in real time during an online meeting organised by the Faculty of Architecture on 12 June. The exam duration is 90 minutes. Detailed information on the materials (e.g. cardboard, pencil, eraser) that candidates must have to take part in the exam will be sent by e-mail after 29 May 2026 to the addresses provided in the IRK system. During the 1st Phase, a Candidate can receive up to 60 points for the presented Examination Task.
On 25 June 2026:
– each of the Candidates will receive the following information and data in the IRK system:
– number of points received after the 1st Phase;
– information on the acceptance or non-acceptance to the 2nd Phase.
STEP 3: Complete an Interview / the 2nd phase
26 June – 3 July 2026 – individual online qualification meetings will be conducted with the Candidates.
Each Candidate can receive up to 40 points during the 2nd Phase.
STEP 4: Wait for the decision of the Faculty
6 July 2026 – if the decision is positive, you will receive the "qualified" status in the IRK system. If the preliminary decision is negative, your application will be sent to the programme of your next priority.
STEP 5: Upload the Admission Documents
By 19 August 2026, candidates with a "qualified" status will be asked to upload:
1. Legalisation of/apostille on your High School Leaving Certificate.
2. Eligibility Statement – proof that you can apply for Bachelor's degree studies.
*If you need to get the Recognition Statement from NAWA on a high school certificate, the additional Eligibility St. from your high school is not required. More info below.
3. Proof of English Proficiency – the list of accepted certificates of proficiency in English
4. Tuition Fee Payment – proof of the tuition fee payment for the 1st semester of studies. Due to visa regulations in some countries, you can also pay for the 2nd semester tuition fee in advance.
*IMPORTANT:
According to the law of 4 April 2025 regarding, among others, the rules for admission to Polish universities, obtaining a final acceptance letter will require some candidates to fulfil the following condition:

to submit the Recognition Statement on a Secondary Education Certificate issued by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) – this document may be obtained online in NAWA’s Syrena System. The process may take up to 90 days (or more), so we strongly recommend that you apply for the recognition in advance
or - to submit the Decision on Recognition of a Secondary Education Certificate issued by the Polish Education Office (Kuratorium Oświaty) – please click for more information. It was possible to submit application for this recognition only until 30 June 2025
*These requirements do not apply to candidates whose high school certificates were issued by the EU, OECD and EFTA members (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States), China, Ukraine as well as the holders of IB and EB diplomas.
If all documents are correct, you will receive a Visa Letter and the Certificate of Acceptance in the IRK System.

STEP 6: Arrival & registration
Before the classes start, you will be asked to register personally at the International Students Office and at the Faculty. Check more information about Registration here.
In the case of Architecture, for admission, the most important are the results of your Architecture Examination Task and the interview.
