Applied Computer Science (studies offered in a hybrid mode/part-time)

Graduate qualifications

A graduate of the Applied Computer Science Programme possesses in-depth knowledge and skills in analysing the operation, design methods, modelling, construction, and maintenance of computer hardware and software, as well as in applying modern techniques for data processing, storage, and presentation using IT and multimedia tools.

The knowledge and skills acquired enable the graduate to quickly adapt to the dynamically evolving field of information technology. Graduates are able to analyse problems, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions. They are capable of teamwork as well as organising and managing team activities.

Career opportunities:

Graduates may find employment as researchers, software designers and developers, heads of programming teams, analysts and administrators of complex IT systems, designers, developers and administrators of computer networks, or specialists in information system security.
